Lot 401 - Time Registering Mechanical Bank Cast Iron
Ives, Blakeslee & Co., Bridgeport, CT
Circa: 1891
To lock the bank, place the door in position and press firmly. Place a dime in the chute and pull the chute quickly to the right, then to the left, and the dime will be deposited and the door locked. The amount will register on the dial. When one hundred dimes have been deposited, the bank will unlock and the door will pop out. Circa: 1930s
Place a coin in the upright duck’s mouth and twist the lever. The upright duck bows and places the coin in the trough as the lower duck rises. Release the lever and both ducks return to their original positions.

Push a dime in the slot and the umbrella opens a little bit more with each dime. When $5 is reached, the umbrella will be all the way open. Closing the umbrella or inserting additional coins will cause the bank to open.

Lot 481 - Wishbone Mechanical Bank Lead
Place a coin on the holder at the bottom of the wishbone and push lever. Both figures fall back as the wishbone breaks in half causing the coin to fall into the slot in the woman’s dress. Never a production item.
