Circa: 1881
Place a coin on the tray and press the lever in the shape of a cat. The
fairy lowers her wand and her other arm. Dinah raises her head and arms as
the tray flips over. A coin appears that reads “Twenty Dollars.” Release
the lever and everything returns to its original position.

Place a coin in the slot of the hydrant and press the lever. One boy lowers the
hat over the other boy’s head, the seated boy raises his arms, the coin falls
into the bank, and a figure of a Chinaman appears on the hat as the hat
lengthens over the boy’s head.

Lot 373 - Shoot The Chute Mechanical Bank with Box Cast Iron
The J. & E. Stevens Co., Cromwell, CT
Circa: 1906
Raise extension until it is fully extended. Press the hook at the base of the
chute and place a coin in the slot. Place Buster Brown’s boat at the top of the
chute and release. The boat comes down the chute and knocks the coin into the
bank. Buster Brown and Tige are thrown out of the boat and land upside down.

Circa: 1877
Place a coin in the vertical position in the bull’s eye of the target. Cock the
cannon by pulling back on the wire lever, and turn the wire downward to lock.
When ready to fire, move the wire lever to the up position. The wire is
propelled forward striking the coin and causing it to fall into the bank.

Lot 400 - Time Lock Savings Mechanical Bank
Louis Manufacturing Co., New York, NY
Circa: 1892
With the coin trap removed, trip the locking lever and set the timelock wheel
for the number of days desired. Replace the trap and the bank is ready for
operation. Wind the clock each day. When the clock is wound, the internal
mechanism advances the registering mechanism one day. When the clock has been
wound the correct number of times, the coin trap will pop off.
