Move the dial off X (Ten) O’Clock. The elephant will rear up on his hind
legs, stick out his tongue, and lift up the baby to save it from the
alligators. The coin slot, which was under the baby, becomes exposed in
the process. Insert a coin, and reset by lowering the elephant to his
original position and locking the dial back to the X (Ten) O’Clock
position. Replaced Baby Boy Figure.

Place a penny on the Chinaman’s tray. Press the Chinaman’s queue. His left
arm rises, causing the tray to flip over, deposit the coin into the bank,
and serve dinner. The dinner consists of a dead rat and a note that reads,
“Dinner is Ready.” Release his queue, his arm moves back down, and flips
the tray over to its original position. Touch-up to front of boat.

A coin is placed in the slot at the top of the bank. The weight of the
coin causes the mechanism to record the deposit. There are two windows in
the bank which show the deposit. The top one reads from 0 to 9 and the
bottom reads from 00 to 99. After 9 pennies are deposited a 0 will show in
the top window. The lower window then registers 10. The bank registers up
to 100 pennies and then both windows reset to 0.
