February has more to offer than just a lover’s holiday... A very important collection of Advertising signs has dealers as well as many collectors talking about this auction. A full color Occupational Shaving mug poster has surfaced from Baltimore. Advertising regulator clocks are included that are in excellent condition. Hunting signs include a Dupont perpetual calendar in tin litho, a Western Ammunition paper shell sign by the artist Murray and a full size Shotgun Shell Display ad depicting a Canadian Goose from a sporting good store in Boston. A very scarce 3-dementional Harper Whiskey ad of a tiger has illuminated glass eyes to attract customers. Added to this wonderful auction is a large glass and wood construction electrified Shoe advertising sign from the 1910 period. This came directly from a Shoe store out of Michigan that was found in their storage room. A full size leaded glass advertising window for a Music Store from Ohio will also attract many buyers. The 1870's advertising sign featuring Santa Claus selling Men's paper collars has not been seen for decades. The most important featured item in the sale is a 1880's full size zinc cigar store Indian made by Dubral and Peters that was featured in a 1953 book on cigar store figures. # 1138=Included in this lot is the original Dubral trade card with it's history on the back giving the details of the Indian. This auction is full of great advertising pieces that any collector would certainly want to add to their collection. Check the website to view these and other important pieces that will highlight the sale. Lots of Interest: - Gary Metz Bio | Email Gary
