The Christmas Collection of Santa’s and Belsnickel’s features a 30” T Santa Candy Container, dressed in blue with a china face and glass eyes. This size and pristine condition is extremely rare and it is one of only few known. A 40” L reindeer pulling a sleigh with a Santa is another highlight piece, which has two clockwork mechanisms in order to bob the head of the Santa and reindeer. Many of the Santa’s’ in the December Sale were purchased from the personal collection of Joyce Leiby, who was quite knowledgeable and well known for quality and condition. Joyce Leiby’s lots exemplify what a top quality and condition collection truly is. If you are passionate about Santa’s then you will love the McLoughlin puzzle, dated 1889, which depicts three views of Santa in wonderful overall condition.
