Brian Estepp's  December '09 Marble Review

Our largest consignor for our December 2009 sale is Wayne Sanders. Wayne’s collection was amassed over his lifetime and includes many rare marbles that I have never seen before. In this collection you can find number 1 thru number 9 sulfides including painted examples. Also included, is one of the largest banded opaque marbles ever known. The peppermint with mica, even though it is polished,is the largest and best example of a mica that I have ever seen.

Other marbles in this auction include 1-9/16" Black Opaque Lutz, which is the largest example I have ever seen and know of.I feel all my estimates and grading are very conservative and as a dealer and collector for over thirty years, I feel potential buyers will always have room to make money when it is time for resale. This helps to keep our hobby strong. We are pleased to offer this fine collection of marbles, please check out the December 2009 catalog for more details and additional marbles.
