Morphy Auctions is happy to offer various ways for our customers to bid during any of our auctions. Customers who are unable to attend our auctions in person are invited to bid online. Online bidding is an easy and convenient way for customers to bid remotely.
Morphy Auctions is proud to offer our bidders our easy to use online bidding platform: Morphy LIVE. Morphy LIVE is the newest way to bid online and watch the current LIVE sale at Dan Morphy Auctions. Our members worldwide can now bid as if attending the sale in person. Bidding through Morphy LIVE couldn’t be easier. If you have a computer and can access Dan Morphy Auctions’ website, you can bid in our sales without having to leave the comfort of your home.
There are NO ADDITIONAL charges or fees, and registration is FREE. Sign up today so you can be ready at a moment’s notice to join the bidding action – you never know when you’ll spot the auction item that you can’t live without. Bidding through Morphy LIVE gives you a competitive edge, since Morphy LIVE bids take precedence over incoming bids coming in from any other Internet-based bidding platforms. A 23% buyer’s premium applies to all purchases made through Morphy LIVE bidding platform.
If you are unable to attend the auction in person, or do not want to wait to bid in the live online auction, another way to participate is by placing an absentee bid. The absentee bidding options are as follows: you can place an absentee bid online, fill out a printable absentee form (see the printable pdf forms at the bottom of this page) and fax it to 717-336-7115, or call 717-335-3435 and leave absentee bids with a Morphy representative.
Members who decide to leave absentee bids online may preview, register and place absentee bids directly through the website. Online absentee bidding through Morphy is available until two hours prior to the sale. If there are two identical bids placed on the same item, priority will be given to the first bid received. All bids must be left in increments as listed below.
Bid increments listed are a general guideline. Actual increments are at the auctioneer’s discretion.
If a bid is left that does not comply with the stipulated increments, the auctioneer has the right to round your bid to the next increment. The auctioneer will execute your absentee bid competitively, up to the maximum amount you have indicated, as the live auction is taking place.
