Phone Bidding
If you are unable to attend the auction in person, you may also participate and bid in real time over the phone with the assistance of a Morphy Auctions representative or leave an absentee bid. The representative will call you approximately five lots prior to the lot you are interested in bidding on. When your lot is announced, the representative will then bid on your behalf as you listen to the live sale and issue instructions over the phone. You may also wish to leave an emergency bid to act as an absentee back-up bid to be executed only if a Morphy’s staff member is unable to reach you by phone during the sale. Requests for phone lines must be received at least three days prior to the auction date. Morphy Auctions cannot guarantee the availability of phone lines but will make every attempt to accommodate all who wish to participate using that method. Phone lines are provided on a first come first served basis. Please complete this brief form to reserve your phone line for the sale.
Absentee Bidding
We offer our buyers the option to leave absentee bids. These bids will be executed by the Auctioneer during the live sale. The Auctioneer will execute your bids up to the maximum amount left.
