This auction’s selection of fine rings rates two thumbs up.  Over 90 lots of women’s and men’s rings are on offer. Nothing says “forever” quite like lot #11, a cluster motif diamond ring, estimated at $3,800-4,800.  This stunning sparkler features an old European cut diamond accented with baguette cut diamonds set in 18 karat white gold.  And purple reigns with lot #103, an amethyst and diamond ring, estimated at $700-900.  This pretty-as-a-posy ring features a modified oval cut amethyst in a rose cut diamond surround set in 18 karat gold.
Collectors seeking classic, one-of-a-kind, or dazzling necklaces need look no farther than this jewelry event.  Over 50 lots of fine “neckwear” are on offer, with selections including a full range of precious metal chains and chokers; beads and pearls; and extraordinary gemstones.  One selection that might be head and shoulders above the rest in this category is lot #238, an 18 karat gold and tsavorite garnet necklace, estimated at $6,500-8,500. This remarkable example, designed as ivy set with round cut tsavorite garnets, is unsigned but is believed to by jeweler to the stars, Fred Leighton.
Bracelets are another key category in this sale, with around 30 great selections on offer.   It’s easy being green with lot #323, a gorgeous malachite bracelet, estimated at $1,200-1,800.  This silver gilt showstopper features five oval cabochon malachite links in detailed surrounds.  Lot #54, a bangle by Krementz, sets a new gold standard and is estimated at $1,500-2,500.  This bejeweled bracelet is detailed with bezel set round cut rubies and old European cut diamonds set in stylized 14 karat gold.  But perhaps the crown jewel in this grouping is lot #57, a diamond and ruby bracelet, estimated at $3,000-5,000.  This gorgeous wrist-wrap is set with full cut diamonds and baguette cut rubies in 18 karat white gold.
World-class selections of brooches, earrings, watches, and other precious and decorative items – including loose stones, pendants, and cameos – round out this can’t miss auction event.
